Meet the face behind the posts

Very early into a very short foray racing supermoto, but long after a very non-eventful season of sidecar racing and following years spent in the dirt, I discovered something about myself - I could write far better than I could ride.

Twenty years and several hundred articles later, here I am bent over the handlebars of twistofthewrist.com.au

What I know about mechanics you could engrave on an aspirin with a pick. What I know about suspension you could measure only if your vernier callipers are graduated to the third decimal place. What I know about race craft you could document in not much more than a limerick.

But what I do know is how to bring you the stories from those that know more about bikes and how to ride them than I do.

What I also know is this: riding it gets under your skin. It is not a hobby or a passion - it is a lifestyle.

Cheers for letting me share the journey with you.
